Directions
Tighnabruaich is under two hours' drive from Glasgow via the A82 / A83 Loch Lomond / "Rest and be thankful" route. This takes you via A815 towards Strachur from the A83, just before Cairndow. At Strachur turn onto the A886, then the A8003 at Glendaruel.
Alternatively, use the ferry crossing at Gourock on the Clyde coast, giving
direct access to Cowal at Dunoon, a 40 minute drive from Tighnabruaich. For
this route stay on the M8 westbound to Greenock and continue on to the ferries
at Gourock.
Whichever option you choose, the last 15 minutes are spectacular as you enter
Tighnabruaich, it is worth stopping to enjoy the unparalled views of the
Kyles of Bute before you descend into Tighnabruaich.
